Portage North 2010 Report Game Results :: Class G (11-12 Boys)
Instructions
Please use this form to submit game results. Either team manager can report game results.
Select the original
Scheduled Date of the game from your printed schedule. The Home Team select box is populated
with teams that have a home game scheduled on the selected date.
Select the Game Date the game was played if different than the Scheduled Date.
Select the Home Team and the Visiting Team will be displayed. Then enter the scores.
Enter the Name and Phone of the team manager.
Required fields are marked with an *. The form will not be submitted until all required fields are entered. When Submit is selected,
captions of required fields not entered are changed to a red bold font to identify the
missing information.
The information entered on this form is emailed to the Portage North. If you have any questions or problems, contact the Scheduling Coordinator.
To correct the results of a reported game, re-submit the game result with the correct scores.
To report a postponed game place a check mark next to Postponed. These games will appear in the Unreported Games with Ppd after the Schedule Date.
To report a suspended game, enter the score at the point the game was supended and place a check mark next to Suspended. These games will appear in the Unreported Games with Sus after the Schedule Date and with the team score in parentheses after the team name.
If a game is reported by accident, to reset the game to un-reported, re-submit the game result with the score of 99 for both teams.
NOTE your IP address is captured as part of the email sent to Portage North. Fraudulent game result reporting will be reported to your ISP.
Postponed Game
A game that is canceled before it begins due to rain, either team not
having enough players or the field not being playable after rain. A
postponed game should be reported the same day it was scheduled
and rescheduled as soon as possible. If a game in progress is called
due to rain, darkness, etc., it is considered a suspended game not a
postponed game.
Suspended Game
If after one pitch has been made, a game is declared suspended
if it is called beacuse of darkness, rain, fire, panic or other causes
which places the players or patrons in peril. All records count, and
the game shall be resumed at the exact point where it was stopped.
The player lineup when the game is resumed shall be the same as
it appears in the score book when the game was stopped. If any
player listed in the lineup is not present when the game is resumed,
refer to your rulebook for details on proper substitution.
Enter the score of the game at the point it was suspended.
Scheduled Date
The date of the game as it appears on the printed schedule. If a game
is rescheduled to another date, when reporting the game result the
original schedule date must be selected. Then the Game Date must
be set to the actual date the game was played.
Game Date
The date the game was actually played. Initially, it is set to
the schedule date for ease of reporting the game result. If
the game is played on another date due to rescheduling, it
must be changed to the actual game date.
Manager Name
The manager's name that is reporting the game. The home team
manager is responsible to report game results, but the visiting
team manager may also report the game if it is not reported.
A person reporting a game result for a team manager
must enter the team manager's name, then their name
in parenthesis.
